Kill da Wabbit, Kill da Wabbit.........

We didn't have any major plans this weekend, but still managed to keep busy. Ellie started the weekend off on a sour note by taking a fall, face-first into a table while at daycare. She almost put her tooth completely through her top lip. After a thorough exam by her favorite physician assistant (she prescribed lots of hugs and kisses) she was sore, and swollen, and back on her feet.

Saturday morning, we finally figured out why Floyd was going bananas all night when we found a baby rabbit trapped in our basement window well (hopefully not a plague-carrying baby rabbit!). Although this was only a 'rescue' mission, it was obvious that Ellie and Mom secretly hoped that we were adding a new pet to the family. Unfortunately it was really a baby Jackalope (look closely for the little horns) and is protected in Colorado, so we had to set it free.

Other highlights of the weekend include a 'Cuddletime Concert' featuring Boogie Woogie Baby, and a BBQ with Uncles Phil, Chad, and Ati. We also happily discovered that our baby monitor had sufficient range to reach the tennis courts across the street, so mom and dad got to enjoy some exercise while Ellie napped. (nice work, Sony!) Even though it was technically Mother's Day, Andy won 6-Love.
