Happy Birthday Kristin!

June was Kristin's 'Birthday Season.' Grandma and Grandpa L came to celebrate with us (and they brought cake!). It's been pretty hot in CO this summer so they also bought a kiddie pool for Ellie. She loves it and although it's not a pretty site, it's big enough for mommy and daddy too! When she's in the water, she gets so excited that she scrunches up her face, clenches her fists, and lets out several loud screams.... priceless.

Ellie's vocabulary has really grown in the last few weeks. Among other things, she has learned to say her name. She now pronounces it very clearly and she tends to say it all the time and for no good reason. It's still pretty funny hearing her repeat it over and over again. She also like to point her face to the ceiling and yell 'ECHO!' So far it's only been around the house but we're waiting for her to do it in church. I'm sure we'll regret teaching her that trick.
