Beautiful Colorado Weekend...

We were finally able to take a break from house hunting to enjoy a beautiful Colorado day. We got the whole family out for the AKA Kite festival which was a lot of fun. There were many magnificent kites to go along with the magnificent weather. Ellie had her first 'Porta-potty' experience- but she quickly decided that it was not for her. She wouldn't go because there were already "poopies in there" and mommy kept frantically telling her not to touch anything. Later, Ellie went to her friend Braelynn's birthday party at an "inflatable bouncy play gym." She had a blast and was exhausted the rest of the evening.


Baby Sarah is still in her harness, but only 2 more weeks to go. She is able to come out during the day, but has to wear it at night. It is hard to put her back in it now because she is more aware of it. She is infatuated with her big sister, Ellie, and Ellie has been more interested in Sarah, too. She gets a kick out of clowning around just to get a smile or giggle out of her little sister.

Lastly, we'd like to extend our congratulations to Meghan and Lars on the arrival of their second son, Arne.....

to Bryan, Hadiye and big brother Alex on the birth of their new baby girl, Naz....and to Stuart and Julia, who welcomed their third child, Abigail.
