Frolicking Fall
We're trying to get caught up on fall pictures. Last month, Sarah's preschool had a party and a parade. The theme was Cultures Around the World. As you can see, her class celebrated Jamaica- check out the dreads! The children went from class to class to look at the attire worn by the people of each country, and sample some ethnic foods from there as well. Sarah's teachers were impressed with her desire to try all of the foods- even the 'purple stuff,' as they called it (red cabbage).
It has been a really warm Fall, except for today! 9 inches or more of snow.....but you can see the girls enjoying the warm weather at Waneka Lake with their BFF's, Maeve and Clara.
The annual pumpkin patch pics are included, as is a nice dinner with Ellie and Sarah's former daycare provider, Miss Judy and her husband Jerry. We went out to show our appreciation for what a great job she did taking care of both girls. We will miss them, but hope to get together from time to time.
And last, but not least, a prelude to Halloween.......
