Social Butterfly
Rae's daughter had a baby boy last week. Congratulations Rae and Clark! That meant that Ellie had to go to back up day care with Lorri.....she loved it! So did we- Ellie slept for 10 hours, two nights in a row because she was worn out from all the excitement. She had fun playing with the other kids in the pool filled with Cheerios and crawling through the tunnel. Apparently she also enjoyed "the singing lady" and Lorri's dog. The kids also had fun having Ellie around. We are very grateful to Lorri and her staff for helping us out last week. You can check out Lorri holding Ellie in the slideshow.
This isn't the first time we have discovered our little girl's desire for social interaction. Now that she can crawl, she wants nothing to do with sitting still at Church. We've had to take her into the lobby several times during Mass where there are other parents with restless children. I think Ellie stays busy on purpose just so she can play in the lobby with the others. She already has us figured out!
Oh, and one more thing......she's cutting her first tooth today!
