Father's Day Weekend...

Here are some pics from Father's day weekend. Our super-cool landlords helped us out by watching Ellie on Friday while Miss Judy took a day off for her daughter's graduation party. They sent Ellie home with an outdoor playhouse and a nice kitchen set for inside. Thanks Pete and Cindy! Ellie loves both as you can see in the pictures. We got out Saturday morning for a short hike in Boulder. Ellie really enjoys the outdoors, and we're trying to get up enough nerve to try camping sometime soon. It should be interesting getting her to sleep in a tent. We'll keep you posted. Father's day was relaxing...tennis and BBQ. That's the update-

PS- We've been informed that Yahoo is terminating their Yahoo Photos service. As a result, we'll have to transfer our files to a new host. This will inevitably lead to some technical difficulties as we adjust to the new system. Hopefully we'll be up and running in no time-

Easing into Summer.....

The last two weekends have been busy! We took Ellie on her first hike last weekend- she had a blast and we finally got some exercise! It was just a short hike in along Boulder Creek, but it was a beautiful day. On Sunday we met up with Ati and took the bus to Capitol Hill to the People's Fair. Ellie got a kick out of watching the Celtic Dancers but the feathered Aztec Indian dancers scared the bejeezus out of her and made her cry. (It made us laugh).
This past Saturday we took a day trip to Laramie to visit with some old friends and check out the campus and some of our favorite stores. Andy was upset when his old bartender didn't recognize him with Ellie and asked him to leave- because strollers and kids aren't allowed. Ha! We spent Sunday with Ade and Lisa, getting a tour of China Town and checking out some of the Asian markets. We ate at a great Dim Sum restaurant and tried chicken feet for the first, and last time. Ughhhh....

Is it June already?!

Typical springtime activities have occupied our time as we wrapped up the month of May. With warm weather and sunny skies plentiful, have been able to spend a lot of time having fun outside. Kristin and Ellie planted some flowers in the yard, and the whole family enjoyed music and food at the Boulder Creek Festival.
Ellie participated with Team Eltron (riding on Dad's back) during this year's Bolder Boulder, a 10K race featuring some of the fastest runners (and some of the slowest walkers). Kristin provided logistical support and even joined the race for a few kilometers.
