Pumpkins, NY trip, and more....

It's been a busy couple of weeks. We took Ellie back to the pumpkin patch. The first time she was overdue for a nap and we didn't get a chance to go through the corn maze...mommy and daddy wanted some fun, too (and needed the exercise). Ellie did much better with the petting zoo the second time. She was also a bit more interested in the pumpkins and decided that it would be fun to play in the dirt. She begged us to let her go on the pony rides, but because of her age and size, she had to settle for the tractor.

We just got back from our trip to NY to celebrate Grandma E's 90th Birthday. It's actually in December, but she wanted to celebrate early. It was good to see everyone there. Ellie got to meet her second cousins Harper (Happy 1st Birthday!)and Max and was able to get reaquainted with cousins Victoria and Kaela. She also got to meet Aunt Lori and Uncle Roger for the first time! She spent some quality time with her Great Grandma D and Great Grandma and Grandpa L. She told me today that she misses them already. We went to breakfast with Bryan and Hadiye (recently back from Turkey) and Michelle and Rachel. It was Ellie and Alex's first date- supervised, of course! Rachel gave Ellie her first Halloween book. Thank you, Rachel. She was also able to meet the Leonard's! You can see by the pics that she had a good time playing with the gals and practicing her walking. By the way, there is another little Leonard on the way this Spring. Congratulations Mike and Jenn. Just in case you're wondering......it's another girl! That's 4 wedding dresses! Yikes! We were also able to meet up with Chrissy and Mike, Pam W., Wayne and Dee, Jean, Deb, Russ, and Amy, and of course, Lisa and Uncle Andrew. Thanks to Lisa, Andy and I were able to escape for some fun one afternoon. We saw Mamma Mia at Proctors. It was a fun show with some of that cheesy 70's-80's music that we all hate to admit we love. Reminds me of those college days when Sally and Dana would blast Dancing Queen down the halls. There were a few special people that we were not able to meet up with, but as you can see, we were very busy! Hope to see them all the next time.

Now it's back to the grind....
Halloween is on the way, it's one of our favorite holidays. What are you going to be?
