Our recent trip to NY....
Most of our time was spent visiting great grandmothers E & D and great grandparents L. We cherish all the time that we get to spend with them since we live so far away and don't get to see them as often as we'd like. Special thanks to Popo- she organized a nice picnic at the 'locks' where we were able so spend an afternoon with the whole family. It was a beautiful day, and Ellie was happy to see her ol' pals Jenny & Margaret, and spend a little more time playing soccer with Harper.
We enjoyed a BBQ with Joan and Bob with most of their extended family. It was a pleasure to watch Ellie and Sarah enjoy the company of big kids, Alex and Zach, and small kid, Max.
Andrew and Lisa treated us to a nice dinner....and also some exciting news! They are expecting a baby in early December! Congrats to them!
Ellie wants to give a special 'shout out' to cousin Jared for giving her those cool books, thanks! Sisters Ashley and Lindsey were naturals taking care of both Sarah and Ellie. We wish you lived closer so we could spend more time with all of you....and your little goats!

Ellie and cousin Victoria were inseparable for the rest of the time. Every day, Ellie would ask when she was going to see 'tora?' They had a lot of fun, and we were happy to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa D as well as Jim, Diane, Kaela, and new baby Sophia. Thanks to all-
The week went by so fast, but we were able to squeeze in a few minutes visiting with Kristin's Godparents, cousins Lori and Jeff, and Michelle stopped by to meet Sarah and introduce her to her sweet boy, Nicholas. We also got to spend exactly 2 beers worth of time with Mike, Jenn and their four girls. Nice to see you all-

Congrats to Cousin Malcolm- he was baptized in Lake Forest on Memorial Day! God Bless Malcolm...and give Lori and Roger guidance and wisdom to raise him in a loving Christian family.
We didn't take as many pictures as wanted (chasing kids) but see the slide show below for some of the shots.
