Visits and Birthdays....

So we're a month behind...what? Here are some pics from JUNE, when both sets of grandparents came for a visit. Grandma and Grandpa L came to help us celebrate mommy's birthday and they were able to help us with a few projects around the house as well. Ellie had fun helping Grandma make a birthday cake and as always, enjoyed it when Grandma fixed her hair and nails to make her look "Gorgeous." Sarah and Grandpa spent some quality time bonding. Speaking of bonding...Grandpa will be able to spend some more time bonding with yet another granddaughter as we learned recently that Andrew and Lisa are expecting a GIRL in December. Congratulations to them both!

Grandma and Grandpa D came two days later and we really put them to work. They helped with some quick projects that we had planned, and they found some to do on their own as well. As with every "new" house, there are no shortage of projects. Miss Judy (our daycare lady) took the week off then, so they also helped us out with babysitting. Sarah learned to clap and wave all in the same week. Ellie and Grandpa went on a bike ride almost every day and now she can pedal all by herself.

Sarah turned 6 months in the middle of the two visits. She weighed in at 13 lbs 6 oz., but we weighed her just 2 days ago (and not very accurately) and she was just over 14 lbs. She is an excellent eater and is really packing on the baby rolls. She continues to idolize her big sis and her laugh is a hearty one. Hope you enjoy the photos, there are more to come!
