Happy Birthday Uncle Beaver!
Phil had a birthday on Saturday so he and his dog, Lilly, made the trip from Salem, OR to hang with us. We went to a hockey game Saturday evening....but didn't get any photos. It started out great, there was a big crowd on hand to see the Tri-City Americans take on their archrivals, the Spokane Chiefs, and Ellie loves to make friends with new faces. She watched the hockey players zooming all over the ice in their colorful sweaters and was having a great time until.......
GOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!---they scored.....
.....and everyone (including daddy) suddenly jumped up and screamed, horns sounded, and all hell broke loose. She was very upset to say the least. Just we got her calmed down.....
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!---they scored again......
That was it. Mommy had to take her home. Hockey apparently will be an 'aquired taste' for little EB.
But she enjoyed the rest of the weekend quite a bit, especially playing with Lilly's lips and collar. We also took her to her first brewpub. Uncle Phil made her a cute little fake ID. Awww.... how precious! Check out the slideshow.........

Nice Bride of Chucky shot! You can tell she's Daddy's daughter in that one, for sure.
Funny Lori should mention Chucky...that was the consensus at the office as well.
Still think she's beautiful though.

She's going to have to use that face when she is about 16 (or 30)or Daddy isn't going to let her out.
Lilly was sure keeping an evil eye on her, maybe Lilly ought to stay with her at 16.
