Firetrucks, Friends, and 14'ers.......

Broomfield's 'National Night Out" gave Ellie the opportunity to see a bunch of police, emergency and maintenance vehicles. She loved climbing in all of the trucks but was most impressed with the helicopter that landed nearby.
Ellie also made it to the top of her very first Colorado 14'er! Luckily for all of us, we were able to drive to the peak....HAHAHAHA! We went to the top of Mt. Evans which is the highest altitude road in North America. We parked at 14,270 and hiked the short trail to the peak from there. We all could have used a bit more oxygen but what a view! (see the slideshow to see some pics of the trip)

Here is a picture from Ryan's baptism. Greg and Judy are doing well and Andy is thrilled to be Ryan's Godfather. Andy was glad to be able to spend some time with the whole family.

One more bit of happy news.....Congratulations to Jesse and Courtney who welcomed their daughter, Sydney to their family! We hear that Mom and baby are doing well, and Dad couldn't be more pround. Enjoy!
